Reading the spec
A spring rate is the force needed to compress the spring by one millimetre, given in newtons per millimetre (N/mm). The stock rates for each bike are in the table above where the manual prints them.
Before you change a spring
Measure your race sag and free sag with the sag calculator, then take the readings and the stock rates above to a suspension shop before you spend money on a new spring.
