Where to ride

Where to ride dirt bikes in New York

Public riding areas, private motocross tracks and the permits New York asks for. Public areas are quoted from the managing agency's page, tracks from their own sites, each dated. Places close for fire, weather, seasons, races and repairs, so check the page before you go.

Areas

Public land the managing agency describes for off-highway riding, and privately run tracks and riding parks open to the public. Each card quotes the place’s own page on the riding, vehicles, season, ride days, fees, camping and size; what the page does not print is named on a hatched line. The Forest Service and the BLM publish motor vehicle use maps for public land not listed here.

1 of 4 places on the map; numbers match the list. 1 hollow pin is approximate: the centre of the ZIP code in the printed address, not the gate. 3 places have no pin: their pages give neither. Outline: U.S. Census Bureau.
